TEF, TEF Canada and TEFAQ (Approved Test Center)
The TEF (Test d’évaluation du français) is an international benchmark test created by the Chamber of Commerce of the Paris-Île-de-France region that measures an individual’s level of knowledge and proficiency in French. TEF Canada is a test recognized by Citizenship and Immigration of Canada (CIC) for individuals who wish to obtain a certification of their French language skills as part of an immigration dossier or an application for Canadian Citizenship. The TEFAQ (Test d’évaluation de français adapté au Québec) is recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion (MIDI) as part of an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec. EXAMINATION PROCEDURE
On examination day, all candidates must bring the following required documents:
If you do not present these documents, access to the examination session will be automatically denied without reimbursement of fees.
Upon arrival, we will take your photo for identification purposes. This photo is required to take the TEF.
No late comers will be admitted to the examination room once the test is underway.
During the entire examination day, no candidate may leave the room, except if a health problem confirmed by a medical certificate is presented at registration.
RESULTS
The TEF provides a detailed and personalized certificate of results. For each module, your certificate will show the score you have obtained, your level of proficiency and a comment on your skill level in general French.
Your results will be sent to you by mail approximately six weeks after the exam.
The results remain valid for a period of two years.
